update on me:

Friday Eve: The strange pain in my upper right quadrant, intense enough to make

me want to dial 911, unable to breath without pain, unable to catch my breath,

panic setting in because I am alone in the house, called my wonderful friend

Sherri to 'calm me down' and call 911 for me if I stopped breathing (poor

Sherri!)...I cant lay still, am writhing in pain and trying to breath, telling

Sherri in spurts that I am trying to breath.....? on the way home calls and

finds out I cant breathe and am in pain...thus panics him (poor !)....?

with Sherri's help and calming voice, I was able?to regain my breathing and?'get

through' the extremely?painful ?'attack' of whatever it was.? arrived at

the house (worried and stressed)?about the time I was able to breathe and talk

somewhat normally, though slow, and get up to go to the bathroom.??Elijah came

by at the same time to clean his room and fish tank, gave me a hug and asked if

I was ok....not wanting to panic him I said I had a 'pain' and was getting

'better'.

Man...that was the closest I ever came to calling 911.? (I know Marta...I?SHOULD

HAVE CALLED 911).? Scarry.

?Spent the rest of the weekend feeling queasy, sore, aching, chest hurting when

breathing, light headed, etc....,?but unwilling to go to Balboa and sit in the

waiting room for 15 hours for no good reason and be sent home with 'nothing

wrong' and 'follow up with doc on monday'....

ok..so, today (Monday), ?after talking to the appointment desk and being told I

should have gone to the ER, I had to fight for an appointment and had to give

them a different 'excuse' for going.?

( " you have to go to the ER mam " , " you should have gone to the ER mam " , " what is

the nature of the problem for the appointment mam? " , " if you have another

episode you should go to the ER because they dont do tests for heart problems at

the clinic mam " , etc., etc., etc.)

I made an appt for Tuesday 22 July for a Physical.

Not feeling very assured....she told me to " go to ER if I have another 'attack'

like that " ...I decided to personally go to the clinic here in Santee and ask to

leave a mssg for my doctor.? The reception lady made the nurse take me in (would

not let me just leave a mssg).? They checked vitals (no blood pressure problems

as usual) all was normal.? They checked my breathing, and oxygen saturation, it

was fine.

Then they decided to do an EKG and check my heart.? That was perfectly normal

too.

So....I am fine??? I have the appointment on Tuesday for the physical to rule

out anything else.? (Still hurt like somebody pre-DS surgery sat on my upper

body for 15 minutes, bouncing up and down.)

I decided to check with the lab there at the clinic to see if the doc had

ordered my labs back in June...she said yep...then asked if I wanted to do the

blood draw right then.? I figured...why not?? even if I passed out there, it

would be a safe place to do it...LOL!

so I did the blood draw without any problems (she kept me talking the whole time

and only had to stick me the one time for the 8 or 10 little vials) and sent me

on my way.? Good timing since I have the physical appt for next week and all the

results should be in by then.

Still feel tired, a bit weak, sore in the neck, upper back, and chest, but

supposedly doing well.......?

fun fun fun
