Guest guest Posted December 14, 2008 Report Share Posted December 14, 2008 Vicki As long as you are getting in your protein and a " balanced " diet then Eat all the eggs and salad you want. It is real easy to UP a salads nutrition value...for example I love a good shrimp spinach salad with some walnuts and apples tossed in a sweet/tangy dressing...yum. I get protein, veggies, fruit, nuts, fiber, omega3's...what could be better?!! A word of caution to the newbies. For SOME folks lettuce can be very hard to digest and will give digestive problems (read diarrhea). So when your tummy enlarges a bit and you can start to add variety to your diet...add salads with caution...like a weekend when you are staying home. If the salads give you problems, wait a few months and try again. On the other hand...for some folks it just isn't an issue. Hugs Jo > Are there such thing as too many?
