Too often chronically exhausted, feeling broken, beaten and in a constant

state of compromise; parents of students with disabilities are unfortunately

for their children the most inefficient and ineffective of all advocacy

groups in the United States, and clearly no match for the teacher unions,

state departments of education and special interest groups working against

them and their children.
