Anne,

that kind of pain you should in the an ER or at an urgent care

center...do not wait for a doc appt.. It could be heart related.

Please get some medical care.

Dee talked to me. I am going to the crazy people at the Navy

ER....cuz I cant get to Delano.

I called the Navy ER. The 'little boy' who answered the phone told

me I had to WAIT for my Tuesday appointment. Said he had to get the

other line and I was not an Emergency (I had told him everything Dee

told me and still he said that).

I called the appt line and asked to get an earlier appt or leave

mssg or SOMETHING...and she said they didnt have any appts before

Tues, but she would have the nurse call. (I told her about the ER

call)

I talked to Dee after that and she said to come to Delano...but I

just cant get there. No money, no gas, and nobody to drive me even

if I had the money and gas.

The nurse at the clinic called me after that and told me to go to

the ER. I told her what the ER told me over the phone and she was

angry and said I didnt NEED permission to go, just get over there

and insist on getting a cardiac workup because she remembered me

from Monday and said if I was still having painful pressure like

this I need to go. She said not to drive myself. She said if no

one could drive me I should call 911 and have them drive me there in

ambulance. (uh..I will wait for a ride)

so...I am waiting for to come home (should be here in about 15

minutes) to drop my butt off at the ER. He says he wont leave

me...but I am gonna make him leave me. They will probably just give

me a run around for the next 24hrs and leave me in the waiting room,

but at least if I have an 'attack' or something, I will be at the

hospital already!

Given the choice between dying and going to the navy ER is a really

tuff choice...but I will go there. They scare the crap out of me

more than this pain!
