Guest guest
feed cats and dogs garlic in their meals, one glove per animal per day and you'll never have a flea problem. it might take them a few days to get used to the taste of garlic, but they will accept it eventually. hth claudia --- BANTAFAMLY@... wrote: > has anyone had any luck getting rid of fleas without > using pesticides? i had > two indoor cats for one month. they are outside now. > and we have fleas!!! i > am really quite stressed out/manic about it. are > fleas bad for you or just > pesty? i have tried the ole candle in a bowl of > water trick. works ok. am > trying to be meticulous about washing clothes, > sheets and the whole house. i > have older hard woods. 4 apholstered furniture > pieces. i also have three > futons sitting in the room where the cats mainly > were and where most of the > fleas are. i just cant use a bomb. but am worried > about this. and a little > worn out. if it is not against the rules can people > email me directly about > this. thank you genna > ===== http://www.iven.org.uk deutschsprachige impfkritikliste: impfkritik_deutsch/ One-quarter of what you eat keeps you alive. Guest guest
We have some cats, a dog, and naturally also fleas. I gave them Frontline last week, so they will be dead soon. A flea lays about 20-30 eggs each day. The eggs start developing, but the flea will only hatch when a host is available. The development can take up to a year because of this. If they don't have a cat or dog available, they will drink human blood, but this will not allow them to reproduce. a. fleas has anyone had any luck getting rid of fleas without using pesticides? i had two indoor cats for one month. they are outside now. and we have fleas!!! i am really quite stressed out/manic about it. are fleas bad for you or just pesty? i have tried the ole candle in a bowl of water trick. works ok. am trying to be meticulous about washing clothes, sheets and the whole house. i have older hard woods. 4 apholstered furniture pieces. i also have three futons sitting in the room where the cats mainly were and where most of the fleas are. i just cant use a bomb. but am worried about this. and a little worn out. if it is not against the rules can people email me directly about this. thank you genna
Guest guest
Vacuum the house and wash all the bedding. Put boric acid in the carpets, which is supposed to kill them by dehdration. DeFlea is a good supposedly safe surface spray and was recommended by my holistic vet. I haven't tried it yet because I seem to have controlled the problem looking for fleas on the dog every night and picking off the ones I've found. Guest guest
Thanks Phil, am also adding energetic aromatherapy to this, particularly eucalyptus, tea tree and geranium, (since the real oil upsets them) hopefully the fleas will take up residence elsewhere... Her vet did offer one other alternative-a drug treatment ( a pill ) that has bad side effects. What kind of results could be expected using a QXCI on a cat with hyperthyroidism? Can any of the leads be connected on a cat? My practitioner does not have the pet pad. Would that help a lot? How much can be achieved using subspace only? What protocol or programs would work best for the treatment? What about humans? What kind of results have people gotten using the QXCI for hyperthyroidism?THANK-YOU for all replies.Doug Baldwin............................................ Guest guest
Hi, At one time I lived a block from the beach in San Francisco and the fleas (sand fleas) drove us and our cats nuts. I then discovered a wonderful remedy. Eucalyptus leaves kill fleas. Because they are toxic to animals you must be sure they can't eat them. We put them in pillow cases under mattresses, couch cushions and down the sides of chairs. As long as the fleas could sense them and the animals couldn't get to them it was fine. We used the eucalyptus oil soap, bought at the health food store, for carpet areas and places we couldn't put the pillow cases. When it dried it kept the fleas away for months. Garlic and brewers yeast in the diet also helps a lot but sometimes it's difficult to get an animal to eat garlic. I hope this helps, Mendy
Guest guest
Mendy, this is wonderful to know! Thank You! Daknee, I appreciated your sharing of the garlic and brewer's yeast, as a preventative. I believe, most insect pests, do not like strong pungent smells, but most humans do. Good things to grow in your house or flower beds, if your locale permits.
