Guest guest
Hi........ This is going to sound strange, but if you have all your diagnosis that you think you are going to get, and meds are iffy.... Have you heard of energy healing? I'm a pranic healer. Ancient Chinese secret kind of thing.. but not so secret anymore. If you want to learn more, you can actually take a class and learn how to do it yourself if you live near a pranic healing clinic. We are still trying to figure my son out. As soon as we get a full diagnosis, I'm going to be working on him. Until then, I just do my best to keep his energy clean. www.yourhandscanhealyou.com if you are interested in learning more. I basically pulled myself out of an early menopause to have my daughter. It does work. > > We are seeing the only " friendly " doctor in the Toronto area and he's > just ordered a new set of testing so we can get a clearer picture. Guest guest
You can do cranial sacral using pranic healing very easily. I've done it to my son in the past before we got on the metabolic trail. It did make a difference. Also........ there is a book called SuperBrainy Yoga which is part of the pranic healing series of books, and there is an exercise, very easy to do, that will clear up those chakras that cranial sacral clears up. There have been several studies done using SuperBrain Yoga with ASD kids. > > > > > > We are seeing the only " friendly " doctor in the Toronto area and > > he's > > > just ordered a new set of testing so we can get a clearer > picture. > > He > > > prescribed 5-days of vancomycin a few months ago and my son had > > > formed stools within 3 days. Guest guest
Did he have labs to back up the vanco? If not, perhaps that's the route to get some stool testing to prove he has a problem. honestly, if you are considering a vancomycin route, and I wouldn't blame you after what you saw, I would want a doc who is gonna know what he/she's doing. Vancomycin *can* cause kidney problems, and big ones, so if a protocol this aggressive would help your son then it might be worth it to find a doc who can keep a close eye and make sure you get the right protocol and test the kidneys while doing it to ensure no problems are developing. I don't know what doses start causing problems and/or if the protocol you would need would be far below that threshold, just wanna toss it out there FYI. I have heard of Dr. Bradstreet, who is in Arizona & FL, doing a very similar protocol with vancomycin, antifungals and probiotics, but the only time I've heard of (and I'm by no means an expert) is with culture-confirmed clostridium difficile in the gut. Any chance your doc might be willing to contact him for assistance? These docs can be really helpful to those who reach out, though I don't know how Bradstreet may/may not respond, I don't know the man at all. Guest guest
From what I have heard from doctors: The Western Blot is usually considered the best test. Some have used the C6 peptide test with good results. Most will not test positive unless they have killed the lyme for a month or two or three. If it has been less than a couple of months since taking Amoxicillin or zithromax, then this may help bring about a positive test. Igenex is considered the best lab, but you can try another lab first, and then use Igenex if they other lab comes back negative. I say this because Igenex does not accept insurance, so you have to bill them yourself, and reimbursement will vary, and might not be much. Heidi N Same thing happened for us. Our DAN dr. recommended metranidazole(flagyl) for 10 day, then when I retured some positive updates he recommend to continue it30 days more,I think same, my son also has a bacterial problem but it's notclostrodia, already tested negative. Before , we noticed that amoxicillin and zithromax also reduced autismeffects, but we were aware of antibiotics since long time . I will talk this subject with dr. at next at appointment in 3 weeksbut , I'm really curious, which lab is best for lyme tests? MugeLooking for a car that's sporty, fun and fits in your budget? Guest guest
Yes, we do have stool testing, but I've just sent off a new sample to Doctors Data for a full analysis. The past 2 tests have shown improvement in inflammation and secretory IgA since 2005 but it's still not gone. The bacterial culture showed imbalance in Bacillus spp and dysbiotic with Klebsiella pneumonia. I'm hoping to get the new results within 2 weeks. Yeast pops up every once in a while and I tackle it with diet but it's not a big issue. You make a good point about having my Dr. contact Dr. Bradstreet. If he's using Vancomycin in his program it may give my Dr. more confidence that this is a route that is feasible. I'm wondering if Flagyl will have the same result as Vancomycin - because the Gastro Dr. gave my son a prescription for that last week. I haven't started him on it though because she didn't prescribe the anti-fungal. Do you think I should start on Flagyl and do some natural anti-fungal until the tests come back? > > Did he have labs to back up the vanco? Guest guest
It doesn't sound strange to me....... www.UnitedGlobalNetwork.com has info on the AIM program EM2 energy and is awesome. request info in particular to autism, and have a cd. We are doing that as a family. and my daughter has had indian healing, and the whole family had Dr Pearl's 'The Reconnection' healing. I Love, Love, Love it. I love exploring nature and healing. I am personally sick of the drug pushers. I am into much alternatives. We also use the 'Rife' machine aka micro frequency generator, when I set it for intestinal issues and have my daughter sit there, she immediately starts babbling and trying to talk. It is all cool, I am glad you mentioned energy healing. Thank you! Cheers! ~ " mvpoppins " wrote: > > Hi........ > This is going to sound strange, but if you have all your diagnosis > that you think you are going to get, and meds are iffy.... > Have you heard of energy healing? Guest guest
My daughter was on Flagyl for clostrodium. We did not know she had until we got her testing back. After being on it for 2 of the 4 weeks she began saying words and responding more to us. It made a huge difference in her. She is still improving with the help of a month of diflucan and now nystatin for maintenance. She is 3 years old and can read words with no pictures and is a whiz at the computer now. Hope this helps April
