Guest guest
Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Hope you have a wonderful day with family and friends.... The Rowleys will have a different Thanksgiving. I spent half a day in the ER yesterday with my nine year old Isaiah. He fell at school and hurt his leg. The school thought he broke it... which he did not. He may have damaged cartilage, ligaments. The x-rays showed what may be damage, but they said with kids it is hard to tell. He's bouncing back pretty quickly though. There is some evidence on the x-rays that Isaiah may have had a broken femur several years ago. I am assuming since he doesn't remember it, that if he did that it occurred before the age of two when he was with his bio family since there was extreme abuse there that we already knew about... just not this. Bless his little heart. I can't imagine how traumatic his life must have been... and having damage like that which was obviously not even treated! I'm headed in to the ER myself again in an hour or so. I am still having trouble ever since my kidney stone last week. I have a raging UTI that Cipro doesn't seem to be fixing and I am in a lot of pain. I am hoping to get through my morning ablutions before going in. (Okay... all my stinky DS bm's). Anything I can do to avoid subjecting others to my odor problems makes me happier. It worries me a bit... because my mother ultimately died of sepsis when she had recurrent UTI's that she couldn't lick. I guess I'm just a worry wart! A little hydrocodone has made it acceptable for another hour or two... and then I'll hop over to the ER. It's very handy here because the ER is only about three blocks away. And, the waiting is counted in minutes... not hours. Again... Happy Thanksgiving! -- Elle **
