actually not true, although it's GOOD bacteria in kids with PANDAS there body can't tell the difference and forms antibodies to it thinking it bad and then attacks the brain and other organs in the body like an autoimmune thing, many with PANDAS are finding this accidently through testing for antibodies ON probtoics with strep lines and then going off and retesting and finding numbers will FINALLY plumit even with out treatments, I know several with even 3 or 4 rounds of treatments can't get titers down while doing strep line probotics, who go off them and then can finally get them down because the body isn't being triggered by the strep lines, we saw this with klaire labs therabotic complete. we saw the cycle stop once we stopped using this in rotation.

Re: VSL #3, casein/strep

Not everyone's kids are affected by the trace amounts of casein found in products like VSL#3. Of course some are. That's why there is no one answer for anything. Sometimes when targeting a specific problem we have to weigh all the information equally and then decide what course of action to proceed with specific to your child only. The "strep" found in VSL#3 (streptococcus thermophilus) is beneficial bacteria, and has nothing to do with the harmful bacterial strains that cause things like strep throat, etc... This is caused by the "bad strep" strain of streptococcus pyogenes.> > Hi from Rei to Christel and our group,> > We are very excited to received our very first OAT
