We currently have our son on the following mito cocktail but I am curious what

others are

giving:

Carnitine

CoQ10

Folic Acid

Vitamin E with evening primrose

Selenium

B complex containing: thiamine, riboflavin, niacinamide, B12, pantothenic acid,

folic acid,

biotin, p5p, choline citrate,

I have noticed that as we slowly added these he started improving until finally

we were on

this mito cocktail of sorts. However, I wonder what else, if anything we are

missing.

I also use Ribose for ATP function and Actyl-L-Carnitine besides

Carnitor (Rx L-Carnitine).

B-12 shots as well along w/ SNT for the extra B vitamins. Laureen

My DAN! suggested it to me. It's a simple sugar (only 5 carbon chain

so no insulin issues) that's used for muscles and to provide metabolic

support.

Actually, Johanna on this board posted a great article on it regarding

it's use effects of oxidative therapy. I have the article saved since

I really thought it made a lot of sense. The subject was Ribose?

Mimics HBOT? I can repost if you would like

This the recipe I use: supposed to be from Dr. Kelley at s Hop-

Carnitine 50mgs/kg a day

Thiamine 15mgs/kg a day

Riboflavin 15mgs/kg a day

Pantothenate 15mgs/kg a day

CoQ10 5mgs/kg a day

Vit E 15mgs/kg a day

Vit C 25 mgs/kg a day

Lipoic Acid 15 mgs/kg a day

It is supposed to be given in 3-5 doses throughout the day.

I did the math for my son's weight, I open the capsules mix them up

and fill my own capsules.

***I DON'T include the lipoid acid- there is a lot of info saying it

redistributes metals. I do use ALA in my chelation protocol- 3 days

on, dosing every 3 hours.

***I use allithiamine form of thiamine.

I add succinate

I add creatine
