(Add in some aniseed to make more pleasant). Contraindications 1) Avoid excessive doses during pregnancy due to this herb's emmenagogue and arboretifacient effects.2) When combined this herb may reduce the absorption rate of some oral drugs.3) Any dose of insulin may require adjusting due to the lowering of blood sugar activity due to the alkaloid trigonelline.4) Do not combine this herb with Glipizide, Heparin or Ticlopidine due to the lowering of blood sugar.5) Repeated external applications of this herb may result in skin reactions.6) Do not use with Warfarin, as this herb increases the activity of Warfarin.
