Maybe there isn't much cascara in it. It also contains several other herbs. I wouldn't live without it. It's totally changed my bathroom habits. For some reason that I can no longer remember, I bought the Happy Colon but it seems to be extrememly mild. My grandson (he's 7) takes it from taime to time. LIZ D Cascara Sagrada Just wondering if cascara sagrada is considered by some to be bad...I noticed a bowel cleanse product advertising that it did not contain cascara sagrada, suggesting that that made the product better. The bottle says take 3 caps. a day, one before each meal. However I take 6 a day and I have anywhere from 2 to 5 bms a day. Before taking it I went once or twice a week. Happy Memorial Day!!!
