A long delayed hello to Sharon!

Hey Sharon.....sorry it has taken me so long to get back to your

reply to my posting. " HELLO " right back atchya!

I am doing well...I am back in California (the central coastal area).

Having many years " under my belt " with the DS (I think I was April

of 2002)- I do tend to battle keeping my weight at AT LEAST 162-

here lately it has been more towards 157. I guess that I am one

of " the lucky ones " - that hasn't experienced the rebounding weight

gain. I am often told I look more like I weigh about 130- and being

5'7 " - that kind of look is not what I am wanting. I feel MUCH

better around 165- but I haven't been able to hit those numbers for

a couple of years.

I have just lately hooked up with a hemotologist here in San

Obispo who is hooking me up to an iron infusion schedule- so that

some anemia that I have been battling is resolved. Thank God- as I

hate feeling like " poopie " (I know...I know..such harsh words). I

was hospitalized in December with severe anemia...my hemoglobin was

a low 7. I underwent every test they could think of...but the

reason was still unresolved. I will say I was anemic even before

the DS...so maybe that has a bit to do with the whole situation. I

dunno...and quite frankly I really don't care. Bottom line is the

test all came back inconclusive...and I have the ability to get

supplemented- so it won't be an issue.

How have you been Sharon? I haven't passed through the high desert

in awhile- but I do want to plan on attending a meeting soon-

whether it be Paso or Delano....I really need to attend a meeting

and show my support for the up and coming " loosers " .

If you're ever on the coast...give me a holler.
