yes, that is why the internet is so wonderful you can look up anything at your fingertips and there are some very good sites, also always get a second or even a third opinion.

Dear Joy, I do wish the best for your dad, and the best for you too. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Blessings and love,

Michele

When I took Dad to see the Hematologist, last Thursday, I took in 3 forms, I had created.

1.  Dad's medical history

2. Dad's vitamins, supplements, & meds.

3.  Research I had done on different Alternative Healing modalities for follicular low grade B cell Lymphoma.

The medical history showed that Dad had Shingles in the past and Bells Palsy last year.  If the doctor had read it, he would have known, that Rituxan cannot be given to patients who have the herpes virus.  It was my research that alerted me to this.  I called the doctor's office and reported my findings.  The chemo nurse did not know about herpes virus and Rituxan, a quicker death.  She had to call me back after speaking to the doctor.  As of now, there is no treatment, this week for Dad.  We go in Friday to discover our other options.  Believe me when we go in, I will already know and have the material in my hand!

Never trust the doctor to know all of the facts!  They are busy.  They have a life, too.  Some just don't care, as they are in for the bucks.  Also, there is new material coming out, all of the time.  Take the responsibility for your own health.

Blessings, Joy
