Guest guest
I don't often start posts here, but this gentleman called me today and I just loved his idea. It is great that there are people out there who are trying to find ways to help those on the spectrum find jobs and they are looking to share their idea to others. Anyway, my feel good story of the day. Dear Friends, Our web site is up and running. It is an Autism Awareness T Shirt site where items can be purchased. We are a registered 501C3 not-for profit. At this time we have 4 classes of autistic children each day, working towards transitional school to work, ranging from the ages of 12-21. In addition, we have a paid staff of 12…, 9 of which are diagnosed with some degree of developmental disability. In fact, our Production Manager is a former program recipient. $1.00 will be donated to Autism Speaks for items sold only from our web site. PLEASE spread the word and forward this link to any organization, group or person who you think would be interested in these types of products. In addition, we do any type of custom t shirts for business or personal use, including photo shirts. The site is WWW.POSSIBILITEES1.ORG One of our goals is to assist other organizations and agencies to replicate what we are doing. We strongly believe that people with disabilities can be a valuable part of our work force. Printed t-shirts are used by EVERYONE, and in a controlled environment, many people diagnosed on the spectrum do exceptionally well and become truly employable. We believe in training while in school, then employing upon graduation. We not only sell the printed clothing on our site, we provide your design for walks, golf outings, etc. We will gladly sell these at a discounted price or, if you prefer, donate a percentage of the sale back to your organization. We are all in this together....please help us to help you and yours. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at Thank you for your support.
