Marty Stompingelk Looking for volunteers to help out at the 5th Annual Honor the Eagle Pow Wow Saturday May 16 & Sunday May 17 Matthiessen State Park just south of Rte. 178 and Rte 71, Utica, IL (This is just 2 1/2 miles south of the entrance to Starved Rock State Park on Rte. 178. You would pass the Starved Rock entrance, pass Grand Bear Resort, cross Rte. 71 and look for the River Area Entrance on the right.) We have set shifts but are open to anyone who wants to help more than the 4 hours or possibly at different times. The Children's crafts are only open from 11am-5pm. Here are the scheduled times.... Saturday they are 10am-2pm....2pm-6pm....6pm-10pm -We ask that you arrive about 15min before your shift starts. Sunday they are 10am-2pm....2pm-6pm....and Tear Down from 5PM-7PM We have many different areas which may include Admissions, SOARRING Table, Kids Crafts, SOARRING Bison table, Hospitality, Security, Dancer/Drum Check-In and Camping.
