Guest guest
How do you apply for this wavier? Terri Terri R. Benn 25Give praise to the only God. He is our Savior. Glory, majesty, power and authority belong to him. Give praise to him through Jesus Christ our Lord. Give praise to the One who was before all time, who now is, and who will be forever. Amen. Jude 1:25 Subject: Medcaid WavierTo: autism-georgia Date: Wednesday, September 17, 2008, 5:00 PM Hi Today I received a letter from MHDDA notify me that my two son have completed the screening process and meet the criteria for services but regret that funds are not available and they will be place on list for services. The children meet the most in need criteria and eligible for management services. The agency has assigned a Case manager who will assist with connecting with other services in the area and will advocate on their behalf. Also a Planning List Administrator from the region office will be contacting me within 30 days. I am little confused about the process What should I expected? Thanks for reading
Guest guest
A long wait and lots of hoops to jump thru. We qualified about 5 years ago and got approved for funds 6 months ago. We are still working thru the process to actually get the funding. > > Hi Today I received a letter from MHDDA notify me that my two son have > completed the screening process and meet the criteria for services but > regret that funds are not available and they will be place on list for > services. Guest guest
whatever you do.....do not let your KB waiver expire until AFTER you have the final approved budget from your support cordinator. we gave ourselves a 7month cushion and it wasnt enough. It was a huge nightmare to get the KB reinstated just so the funding would go thru for the NSE waiver. > > > > Hi Today I received a letter from MHDDA notify me that my two son > have > > completed the screening process and meet the criteria for services > but > > regret that funds are not available and they will be place on list > for > > services. Guest guest
We are new to area and want to apply for the Beckett. What is the first step? My son was on the Medicaid Waiver waiting list in Tennessee.. N. Trent A wise person looks at the end results instead of focusing only on his or her immediate circumstances. In short wisdom is to do now what you will be satisfied with later.

Guest guest
go to your local dfacs office (dept of family & childrens services). ask for the beckett application or the deeming waiver application. its the same thing but different offices know it by differnt names. there is some really good info on the asaga.org website (autism society of ga) under the resource tab. also, graysons gift is having a free medicaid waiver seminar on oct 4th at northside forsyth hospital. for more info on that visit www.graysons-gift.org > > I am in Gwinnett county > > > > N.
