Guest guest
My son Eddie is 16 and we have never had any need to medicate him for his autistic behaviors. However, in the last 6 months he has become more and more aggressive. Basically his trigger is the word "no". LOL - isn't that any childs? Anyway, he doesn't become violent...just has pretty intense meltdowns and fixates on whatever it is he is being denied, sometimes for hours. I'm not a big fan of medication, mainly because I feel my son has Autism due to being vaccinated too frequently and with dangerous drugs. But at this point, I'm willing to consider any avenue that will both help him control his "rages" and also help us as his parents to feel we are not so helpless emotionally when this occurs. I know there are lots of opinions both good and bad and lots of different ones to try. I guess I'm asking for help here in a big way - I have no idea which direction to turn when it comes to medicating, because as I said, we've never had a need to before now. Thoughts and advice greatly appreciated.... Sherri in Rome
