Guest guest
Hi all, I just wanted to let you all know that The Op Foundation has officially launched its website. Here's the link: www.theopfoundation.com. Check out the upcoming workshop in October by Carbone - it's going to be great! Seating is going to be limited, so register early if you'd like to attend. I also know that the " Op Notes " are going to be a fantastic resource for parents because the foundation is going to summarize all the latest research in the medical journals, so parents and physicians don't have to dig it up themselves. There are lots of volunteer opportunities if you want to get involved, too (these are listed on the website, but if you have talents or skills that you want to donate that aren't listed, don't hesitate to be in touch!! You can donate as much (or as little) of your time that you have to give). Additionally, and Joy are hoping to hear from the community regarding ideas for services and resources, so you can contact them directly through the website if you know of a particular service need or if you know of workshops, specialists, or other resources that could benefit the community. I'm on the special events committee for the foundation, and will be serving in some other roles, as well, so if you have any questions, let me know. This is going to be such a great resource for northwest Georgia - we're so excited about it!
