Guest guest
I just emailed Dawn so hopefully I can get it faxed to me. I always keep the list when it is sent so I dont think I ever got one. What a pain I am .........lol. My PCP cannot find my Vit A D E K results and I drew a blank and never thought I had an issue. I knew they would call if there was an issue. I called to get another copy of last years labs and that is when they said they didnt have that info. Needless to say- im a bit freaked but I will have them done this week. V- mjs93311 wrote: I lost mine and just used the previous year's list. Sorry, Dee, if you are reading this! Guest guest
Vicki, Your last labs were done on March 16th 2007, but they are actually due in September each year. Your labs were perfectly fine; that's why you didn't hear anything from us. I don't know who told you we don't have them but we do and I will fax them to you along with the lab slip you are requesting now, EVEN though your anniversary date is September. PLEASE guys understand that we have to do labs according to your anniversary dates in order to keep them straight. Unless there is a problem, or your pcp wants to order some labs, we send your lab slips out according to your anniversary dates. FYI, Dawn hasn't worked in the office for more than a year now. She has a fulltime job with the little guys. Guest guest
Vicki BUG the office. If they do not respond to your call within a resonable timeframe...bug them over and over again. You are just as important as the next patient. Having said that....this is a plea to everyone. Please try to keep track of your lab sheets. Don't create a double work load for the office when they have to generate another form and get it to you. When your lab request is sent to you that means it is TIME to do your labs. Schedule it and get them done asap. Your less likely to misplace the lab sheet if you do them timely. BUT...don't hesitate to call the office and get a new lab request if you need to. It might be extra work for them but it's important that you get the labs done...so call. Hugs Jo
Guest guest
> Dee- My PCP said he didnt have them. Not you guys. Thank you for faxing the info ================================ Vicki It is a good Idea to make a copy of your lab request slip so you at least have the " standard " request that Dr. K asks for to show your PCP. Also...when you get labs done Via Dr. K's lab slip the lab results go to Dr. K...not your PCP. You can ask that copies are faxed to your PCP. Guest guest
Copies go to both of them so my PCP can have a copy in my file. I take responsibility for this one. I should not have waited so long to check on it. I am 100% compliant but you never know what can happen. I made a committment before having this surgery and I have followed through and will continue to. I should have followed up sooner. Thanks for the info, mamma Jo. You are much appreciated. Guest guest
Everything was taken care of this morning. Every thing was faxed so quickly, I really appreciated it. I didnt realize Dawn was a stay at home mom. Because Dr. Z is my doctor, I usually go through Patty. My bad. She was sweet to respond though and Dee or had everything to me. Dee- if you are reading this, thank you so much Vicki Jo wrote: Vicki BUG the office. If they do not respond to your call within a resonable timeframe...bug them over and over again. Guest guest
lol..........told you I eat a lot. I average between 100-120 grams of protein a day. I never fail to get in all of my protein. I eat a lot of food but I work out alot so that makes a difference. I average a 500 calorie calorie burn with working out. Working out makes me hungry- especially after doing the elliptical. Well some days, I dont eat that much but on others, I average a snack or small meal every couple hours. I am also hypoglycemic so I make sure I have something in my tummy. I always have string cheese with me and I eat it for snacks. V- Jolene wrote: Wow! I'm curious...how much protein do you get on a day like that? Jolene in Bakersfield > > Here is what I usually eat. I have to have some fat in my diet or the scale wont move. For breakfast, I eat Kashi 7 grain cereal with splenda on it. For lunch, usually a lean cuisine. PB sandwich during the day or 100 cal popcorn. I also love sugar free popsicles. My addiction lately is pineapple.........lol. For dinner, its usually fish or something like that. I love lean cuisines so we eat alot of them. They are very comparable to the Craig meals and we get the low card/ low sodium ones. I eat a lot during the day- but I work out 6 days a week also > > Vicki **** and Vicki Plough ****
