yeast and bacteria issues

We just got our first lab test results back, and our DAN doctor said they were unusual. She said that it's hard to grow yeast from stool samples, and my son's grew 3 types of yeast and some bad bacteria, with only 1 type of good bacteria found. The blood test results included low calcium, magnesium, and some other minerals, and very high copper and slightly higher than normal zinc. The blood also had a little arsenic, lead, and a tiny bit of mercury. She had previously prescribed Nystatin and flucanazole on our 1st visit, and she has now prescribed an anti-biotic, a different anti-yeast to kill 1 specific stain of yeast, and that we should stay on Nystatin for a month or so afterward.

She does not do homeopathic medicine, and I thought I would ask here for suggestions on dealing with any possible side effects of these medications and for ideas on natural methods of dealing with the yeast problem afterward. I've read that yeast tends to come back over and over, and I can't put my son on a low yeast-feeding diet. He has extreme issues with food, and will only eat thin, crunchy, carbs and drink sweet smoothies and beverages. He will only eat a fruit or veggie if it's in a smoothie, and he will not eat meat at all. In some ways his limited diet made going GFCFSF easier. I try to get protein and fruits and veggies in his diet, but I don't think I could manage low yeast.

Any suggestions for supplements for the vitamin/mineral issues? I'm trying to decide on a good multi-vitamin, and we've sampled some of the Kirkman ones. The doctor suggested Buried Treasures Cal-mag liquid, but I'll have to order it (or something else) online. Any other homeopathic things I should investigate? This biomed thing is still pretty new to me.

Thanks so much!
