Guest guest
Well yes,,, you are probably low on calcium and magnesium,, those two when you are too low in them can add to the constipation and when its almost impossible to go, it causes tears and bleeding.. you might ask your doc about Miralax, it helps you to go without causing cramping and gas etc,, "sharon.mccarty" wrote: Hi everyone, I have really enjoyed reading everyone's story and have learned alot of valuable information. I was started on tx (Interferon and Riba) in late Oct, 2007, my platelets dropped to 32,000 and my wbc dropped to a dangerous level so my treatment was stopped. I'm currently waiting to see a new specialist this coming Thursday. The last couple of week I have been having really bad leg and hand cramps. I have also been having problems having a bowel movement, almost impossible. Friday night I went to the bathroom and had a small movement, there was blood on the toilet paper and all in the bowel movement. I called my family physician and will see him Tuesday morning. Has anyone else experienced these problems? Jackie

I forgot to mention that I also have a hernia that has the biggest part of my small intestine pulled into it and my bowels are almost shut off. I was scheduled for surgery back in Sept, but that is when the Ugly Dragon showed his head and my surgery was canceled. But I will try adding more water. Guest guest
Sharon, what will happen with your hernia? Will they reschedule your surgery? I’m sure it causes considerable discomfort (pain!!) He sent me to the gastro doc for some more tests and then they found the hep c and started treatment.
