Guest guest
Sharon, what will happen with your hernia? Will they reschedule your surgery? I’m sure it causes considerable discomfort (pain!!) I forgot to mention that I also have a hernia that has the biggest part of my small intestine pulled into it and my bowels are almost shut off. I was scheduled for surgery back in Sept, but that is when the Ugly Dragon showed his head and my surgery was canceled. But I will try adding more water. I am constantly drinking Tea, juices upset my stomach. Thanks for all of the advice Sharon Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search. Guest guest
I like to tinker and mix various juices. Some are too tart and some too sweet. Then, mix in a little of ginger ale or seven up and you get a very good cocktail. I also save the juices from canned fruit and add them in.Sharon in NW WashingtonAll I have seen teaches me to trust in the Creator for all that I have not seen. Guest guest
Dorothy, I have no idea what they are going to do with the hernia? It is very painful, but right now I am waiting to see what's next. I'm sure most of you probably know how that goes. I feel like I have been thrown to the curb. The surgeon sent me to the hepatologist and he sent me the gastro doctor, and he started me on treatment. Once the treatment was stopped, the nurse told me they would schedule me to see the doctor and that isn't until April. So I guess I will have had 4 and 1/2 months to suffer some more, this doc just seems so unconcerned. But, my family physician wasn't to happy with all this, so he scheduled me to go this thurs to an Hep C Specialist at a University near my home and see what's next. I am hoping that maybe I can get back on treatment, and kick this ugly virus in the butt. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed and saying many prayers. Guest guest
I know the feeling, Sharon, but I don’t think they’re really kicking us to the curb. I think that if it’s not to do with their very specific area in that small window, they’re done with you. I brought up my pain med dependency issue today at the liver doc and it was the quickest visit I ever had. Even the receptionist asked, “You’re done already?” when I went back out to schedule my next appointment. He said it’s a very common problem and I need to see “someone” about it……..done deal as far as he was concerned. I didn’t really feel kicked to the curb, but I felt dismissed on that topic. Glad you’re seeing someone this week! That’s progress! Guest guest
I refer to it as the Bum's Rush. I HATE it when a doc shows such inconsideration (is that a word?). I got a prescription once for

I got a prescription once for depression, long ago and was told that if I tried to kill myself with it, I would be sorry. Now, THAT'S a caring doc!! Guest guest
I was reading some of your posts about taking your children to chiropractors. Has it seemed to help? Do they give your child a discount ? Or maybe is it covered by insurance or the medicaid waivers? Please let me know. Also I have heard that some families have been reimbursed from when they pay out of pocket to doctors like Buckley from their childs funding from the medicaid waiver? Anyone heard of this? How do I go about getting it done? Thank you so much for everyones support on here....
