Guest guest
I checked and my BMI is 26. I would have to weigh 125 for it to be 24. That will only happen if they do the thigh lift. I certainly don't want to lose any more weight because I always lose in my face first and then my boobs. I am here to tell you there is no more to lose in those two areas. I was assured by a doc many years ago that I would probably never have symptoms of menopause because estrogen is stored in my fat cells (that was what happened) and that my bones would always be strong and heavier because I had stressed them out so much by being overweight. When she said this in a group setting I wanted to deck her but have found that she was right so far. Thanks for all the " flower " information. I will call my local shop tomorrow. Also, if anyone has tried to call me we are having trouble with our phones. They must have low batteries and so when we go to town next we will buy new ones. They seem to be better in the early morning but then are bad by afternoon. Marla WA State **************Start the year off right. Guest guest
Hey Marla, What's this about you being sick?? OMG, a tummy virus would be a bit scary, I'd think, after DS. All kinds of things must run through your mind. I'm SOOO glad to hear you are feeling better! Yay! The moral of the story: avoid sick friends! LOL I'm doing better with the reflux and, honestly, I think I probably caused most of it myself by " dumb " eating. I think I may have tried to eat a little too much and also tried to eat things that were dry and just didn't go down well. It seemed they just didn't digest and then tried to come back up later on. But I've made some adjustments and seem to be doing better. One big adjustment is getting used to how little I need to eat now! It's hard for me sometimes to know exactly when enough is enough until I've taken that " one bite too many " and I feel really uncomfortable. But I'm working on it! I may be a slow learner, but I DO eventually learn! :-) Oddly, I'm finding I can't stomach the thought of breakfast since the DS - and I've always been a breakfast eater. Go figure. Anyway, it now seems like a good time to get in a protein shake in place of breakfast, so that's what I'm doing. Two weeks out I feel great, I've lost 20 lbs., and I'm easing back into my treadmill routine, adding a few extra minutes each day. (I watch TV while I " tread, " which helps the time pass faster.) Again, I'm so happy to hear you are feeling better, lady! Stay well!!! Bellingham, WA
Guest guest
, Oh boy, do I understand how you feel! I'm FINALLY starting to understand my body's signals and stop before it's too late. And you mentioned food that's too dry ~ If I try to eat something that's too dry, it comes right back up. So, I'm learning right along with you! Keep working at it!
