I finally had a successful blood draw last Saturday morning. YIPPEE!!!

The Navy docs dont call...EVER. The doc at the clinic called me on my cel

phone this afternoon. He said my PTH was bad and he was refering me to an

'endocrinology' clinic. I got a readout to fax to Delano.

I dont know enough about these lab results....but there are a lot of highs

and lows. Not sure what a 'GFR' is but it says 'moderately decreased GFR 57'.

Something to do with kidneys? Probably calcium.

Is there a file someplace that tells us what the levels should be and what

all the abbreviations mean?

Like: BUN 1.1 H

IBC_TRANSFERRIN 330 H

CA 8.7 L

LDL 60 L

HGB 11.7 L

HCT 34.7 L

MCV 73.4 L

MCH 24.8 L

RDW 16.3 H

PTH INTACT 147 H

It says IRON 39 and does not have an 'L' so that is ok apparently.

Lots of other stuff on here. All greek to me!
