Guest guest
Here are some random thoughts/views that I have pondered or seen; The mind and what it perceives... limitless. We manifest so many things and most of them nonvitrous. I wonder if the world really was flat in ancient days, and it only became round because Columbus perceived it this was, thus changing the perceptions of others. Hey- it could have happened lol. I have seen people strutting around boasting the status of grand teacher. They use large profound words yet say nothing at all. Their eyes even advertise that they themselves are uncertain of what they say. It amounts to barnyard sounds. Mooing and clucking. recently, a very mentally challenged lady who lives around the corner from me was also mooing and clucking, but all the sudden she said something along the lines of "did you know that God exists because we believe in him?". Wow! I did not comment but was floored by the bipolar lady's statement. So where is wisdom? nowhere, everywhere. We each must learn this from within. Everyday brings with it all the unexpected calamities and unexpected negetive events we never expect but always arive. We become upset, angry, worried and the such. Yet, every single emotion that we show are manifested by us and us alone. There are no outside entities to push our buttons. We alone react to events and the mind conjures up what it chooses. This brings a profound meaning to the words "inner peace" doesn't it? Human nature in so many cases is laziness- it takes no effort at all to become angry, put a label on someone, get upset and pray to the prozac god lol. It takes patience, effort, a loving-lindness attitude and perseverance to gradually overcome these human primitive instincts and to see and react to everything properly... and sometimes not react at all. Simply let it pass. Relax, listen to the wind. Remember that the sun is shining even when it storms; we simply must look past and beyond the clouds. Smile for life is here and it is ours.
