Guest guest
I'm not interested in having just *anyone* that has a special needs child in the white house. We have quite a few already. I'm interested in having someone with the same views as I do towards special needs and I don't know that she's there. If you look at autism alone, there is only a small percentage of us that actually do biomed or believe in vaccine damage. Most don't and don't care.Having a special needs child, to me, is not, in and of itself, a qualifying factor to receive my vote. Her parenting choices and her lifestyle are not my concern. Her politics are my concern and so far, to me, there is very little on which she and I agree. I'm sure there are plenty out there that are going to vote for her simply because she has a special needs child but in my opinion, it has the potential to make things worse. What if we voted someone in office simply because they had 3 children with autism and after they got into office, discovered they vehemently didn't believe in the vaccine injuries that occur, they believed we were starving our kids of nutrition with all those *wacky* diets and pills and putting our children at risk over HBOT, chelation, etc? All of sudden, we have the potential to become criminals when that person decides to push for laws that criminalize everything we do.Having a special needs child doesn't mean it will equate to a sympathetic ear. This is what we need...someone at the top looking out for the needs/the futures of our children. Re: Working mom with a "special needs" baby - Palin - Vice President Well said, Dana. It is also appropriate to call to attention the working parents of children with autism who have made a world of difference in our childrens' lives. I don't see anyone criticizing Dr. Amy Holmes or any of the other doctors, reporters, researchers, nurses, actresses, etc. who have put their lives into making a difference for our children.> > >> > > Palin may be new to the "special needs" aspect of her life> > but it is going to be a life> > > long journey for her and her family just like all of us. Guest guest
Not every woman who has a child deserve to be called 'mother' if that mother, besides parenting skills, is not doing anything about her kid's situation. How many parents, for ex whose child has spec needs, take their kids to drs , spend time w/, research, educate themselves, think nutrition..out of 0.5 million Palin just had a baby and her eldest baby is having a baby, come on. The girl is only 17 yrs old 5 mon pregnant so she got pregnant during this past school yr. Is the girl still in high school or had dropout? What a fine family. There's an ongoing investigation that only Alaska knew about. use/abuse her position to get her former bro-in-law fired because of child custody between him & her sister. It's bn a yr now that none is happening so his supvsr ended up losing his job. >>>>>> From: Tina <jtlgartrell@ verizon.net>>>> Subject: Re: Working mom with a "special needs" baby ->> Palin - Vice President>>> To: mb12 valtrex@ yahoogroups. com>>> Date: Friday, September 5, 2008, 12:37 PM>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I cried when I heard her say she would be our advocate.
