Hi!

I started giving Theralac probiotic to my son,he's taking an anti-biotic too, caused by his ear infection(he had temperature too) so I was glad to get the probiotic .I started giving to him only yesterday nd The problem is that I've noticed he has difficulty swallowing and tends to put his head on the pillow as if he has less energy than before and also less appetite, what can it be? Could it be strep?

====>Sounds like yeast die off.

In that case what should I do? I have another probiotic at home which I have just started taking myself,do you think I can give it to him instead?

theralac has milk in it which in my kids would CAUSE an ear infection, the strep in it would also cause a strep infection. which both can be treated by antibotics which you are already on. it may not be strong enough though. you could add in some OLE and see if that helps

I bought Theralac at a conference in April -- honestly I bought it

because I was about to run out of Probiotic at home and was so busy

getting to the conference. Two of my kids take it now. Both have IgG

Milk sensativity of 4+ but this does not seem to bother them.

According to the rep it was cultured on milk but does not contain

casein -- you should call the company though because your needs may

be different.

It has worked wonders for my ASD son who even as his gut was healing

w/ pro biotics and pre biotics and antifungals he did not have a

formed BM. His have been formed, regular every 24-36 hours, and

remarkably clean ever since we started Theralac.

Per the directions you take a lot up front and then back off. We

reached a point where we thought it was making my son consipated so

now we take it every other day, and alternate with another probiotic

My 2 cents.

Good luck with your decision.

We had an apt today with our dr. We muscletested to see if any of us

was affected by the strep bacteria in Threelac....we all came back

clean. Not only that, but my ASD 3.5 yr old came back with NO

bacterial issues...all gone. Thanx to OLE, LDM100, Puricell and

Proteka. We're now stopping the OLE and have alrealy dropped the

Proteka. We love threelac...can't live without it!!!

Just an FYI -I apologize if this is obvious- but Threelac and Theralac

are different brands.
