Guest guest
Hi guys and girls- I was wondering if someone could give me some info. For some time now, I have had some popping in my right knee when I walk. I didnt think much of it. I excercise 6 days a week and love it. While we were in Israel, I was doing ALOT of walking and on most days, I was wearing boots with heels (soft heels but heels none the less). The day I came home, I started having excruciating pain. My knee hurts all over but especially on the side and back of it. It burns and sometimes I have to lift my knee up to move my leg. It hurts that bad. I dont know if excercise (walking and elliptical) did this- the elliptical causes me to bounce on my knee, or what is causing it. I have been putting so much pressure on my other leg to walk, that now my left knee is hurting. It tends to burn and have such bad pain, that motrin is not completely helping. I will go see my doctor but I was reading up on it and my symptoms resulted in topics of torn ligaments and osteoarthristis. This worries me as I work out alot and like to be active. I have finally hit my goal weight and I dont want to blow it. Here is the big question. Of course I am worried about deficiancies. What are the symptoms of calcium deficiancies? What are the dangers? My labs have looked good and I take 2000 mg of calcium plus eat a load of it. What can this be? Dee- if you are reading this, any insight? If I am compliant, could I have such a deficiency that I could be having horribel symptoms or could this be something totally unrelated. I know no medical advice can be given but maybe some of you have experienced knee pain or dealt with some one who has? I have been excercising for one year so maybe I am doing something wrong or my body isnt used to this activity and over time, I have injured it? Who knows.
