Guest guest
I think your perception is similar to many people in that all you think is the right medicine is the key. NOT. The key is your individual immune system. Without a strong healthy immune system we are all doomed, no matter the high powered drugs available. I doubt sodium chlorite has any immune building properties. All antibiotics do one thing only, they slow down the infection enough for the immune system, hopefully, to catch up and overcome the pathogens. Some times it does not happen that way, if the immune system is challenged. doug ----- Original Message ----- >I was working up to the recommended 15 drops of MMS I when, on day 13, I >came down with a big sinus-ey head cold. Guest guest
NO, if her immune system is weak. Absolutely not. MMS is like any other antibiotic in that it tries to limit or curb or kill pathogen growth in a biologic system, enough for the system's immune system to " catch-up " , but it may never be enough or in time. MMS is never 100% and I think Jim says cure rates were never really 100%. I suppose what you are reasoning below is that if MMS will kill all microbes, then who needs an immune system? Well, it doesn't work that way. MMS is not an artificial immune system within itself and I doubt if Jim described it as such. Timing is everything in healing and war. You can win small battles, but still lose the war---same holds true for infections. The individual's immune system must be functioning properly. doug [ ] Re: How could I catch a cold while taking 13 drops of MMS I? > Doug, > > Your answer about the immune system is correct but it is not what I read > about MMS, I read that MMS kills microbes, bacteries and virus, so MMS > should have protected her from her cold, no? Guest guest
One reason may be that your body pH might have become too acidic. This will allow a cold to take over, or your body to manifest cold symptoms. I believe that this often happens to MMS users... Guest guest
A much better way to stop colds dead in their tracks, and even prevent one from coming on is to take a weak solution of Lugol's iodine (2-2.3%) applied to the inside of your nose with a saturated cotton swab. I've never seen anything work better. Other alternatives that are good for clearing out the sinuses, but do not offer any prevention are a baking soda solution and hydrogen peroxide. Even these two techniques outperform MMS1, however. /Israel > > > > > > I think your perception is similar to many people in that all you think is > > > the right medicine is the key. NOT. Guest guest
Thank you for your responses. I was following the protocol in " MMS Simplified for Newbies by Larry , " but totally screwed it up (I won't bore you with the details). Would anyone be willing to create a document containing the new protocol for starting up (and for maintenance if there is one) and put it in the files section? I'm sure future newbies will appreciate it as much as I would! Heartfelt thanks, Petra > > I was working up to the recommended 15 drops of MMS I when, on day 13, I came down with a big sinus-ey head cold.
