Ok, something that only we " WLSers can understand/appreciate.

As many of you know, about three years ago I let a young man move into my

home who, otherwise, would be homeless. I've known him since he was 17 and

he's 26 now and I refer to him as " my son. "

Lat week I was gathering laundry and there was so much of it that I didn't

want to spend a day doing it (cost of time vs. actual productivity) so I

sent everything to the cleaners after dividing the clothes into " his " and

" mine " laundry bags.

Yesterday I was running late for an appointment and grabbed a pair of jeans

and put them on. I thought, " I've gained " real " weight! " because the jeans

were a little tight. " When I got home and took off the jeans, I discovered

they belong to my " son. " They are a size 34. I certainly didn't need a belt

to hold them up, but they weren't so tight they gave me a headache either.

It is clear that I will never wear anything smaller than that - because of

my " breeder hips " as my parents would put it. Carrying all that weight

around for 45 years caused my hips to become Clydesdale hips.

When I had the DS my pants size was 68 and they were very " snug. " If my

calculations are correct 68 - 34 = 34. Which is what those pants size is.

Simply amazing. Now to get rid of that overhang!

Me

Who also had to try on one of his shirts, too, and I now have a complete new

wardrobe - a 26-year old's clothes. Too amazing, nes paz?
