Guest guest
Hi guys Do you shop at Safeway or Vons and use their Club card for discounts. If you do, of course you know they are tracking your purchases. They now have a site that is kinda interesting and at least YOU can receive some benefit from your " tracked history " it is called Foodflex www.vons.com/foodflex I think www.foodflex.com works too. You can go there and register, within 24 hours you can view purchase charts that track nutrition values of the food you have been purchasing for the last 6 months. It is interesting to check if you have a high protein/low carb purchasing profile! You can also check on vitamins...like are your purchases high in Calcium, B12, zinc, Vitamin C, potassium???....the list goes on. It can also offer alternatives to some products. For example if your purchases are high in Heart UN-healthy trans-fats then you can ask for alternatives to those biscuits! I like looking at nutritional values in food and learning, especially when it has a direct link to what I'm eating... thought some of you might be interested also.
