VERY interesting topic, Vilik! And from the mass of trivia stored on my backburner comes the info that I'm 'pretty sure' you can find citric acid at King Arthur Bakers. I'm also pretty sure they have a website, though I've never been there. When I'm in my occasional baking mode, I love their catalog. Guest guest
If anyone is allergic to corn they would want to make sure the citric acid isn't derived from it as it sometimes supposedly is. Oranges can be very cleansing can't they? J.
Guest guest
Can get it from http://www.shrc.net - Hulda 's son's website. Much love, Ken Sharon wrote: > > Does anyone know where to buy food-grade citric acid?
Guest guest
I got a great price on bulk citric acid when I bought from a soap making supplier. She told me she bought food grade, but since she used a clean but unsterilized scooper to transfer it to smaller containers, she could no longer call it food grade. I use it for a wonderful hair rinse (like Hulda recommends) and in my oatmeal cookies. And as a cancer survivor who monitors her pH, I was delighted to learn this, Vilik. I wish I could remember my supplier's URL. Tried looking, but there are so many. http://hometown.aol.com/soapsandoils is one, but I haven't called to see if they buy food grade or not. (5 lbs. for $10.75) Maureen
Guest guest
>Does anyone know where to buy food-grade citric acid? http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?query=citric+acid & newu=1 All of the entries are not food grade but near the bottom of the page one is listed as food grade. About $ 8.00 to 10.00 per pound. Seems this material has historically been used in home canning of vegetables that were not acid enough to retard spoiling. Typically, I use one lemon per day, and try to eat all the pulp. I even squeeze the peel had enough to get some lemon oil. I have not been able to find any information relating to lemon oil and nutrition. Likely I only get 10 to 30 mg of the lemon oil per day. Any ideas if this is good or bad? Guest guest
Have you noticed anything good or bad since starting with lemon oil? How long have you been doing it? Wayne Hi, Wayne: See Mark Konlee, at the Keep Hope alive site: www.execpc.com/~keephope/keephope.html In some of his articles, he presents case histories of persons with AIDS who have dramatically improved T-cell counts and other health markers by drinking a blended mixture of lemon, olive oil and water. The whole lemon (organic) is blended, skin and all. The resulting mash drink is filtered through a sieve and consumed. From his evidence it would seem it's a very good idea to eat (drink) the whole lemon. Colin Yardley
Guest guest
Hi list, I'd like to add my two cents:). I have fibroid tumors, one of which, was about the size of a tangerine. I had read that fresh lemon juice will shrink tumors in one of my alternative mags. So, I drank lots of it through out the day in distilled water. When I went for my next ultrasound, the Tech. searched and searched and it was totally gone, expect for a few small ones. I continue to drink it daily upon rising and through out the day. I do hope this can be of some value to all of you. Be well,

Guest guest
Hi Jolene, I ended up getting my period every week or two, for a few months, and it would last 12 to 14 days, and it was making me crazy. Then I read about the Lemon Juice, dissolving tumors. So, I decided to give it a go. I would drink the juice of 2 to 3 lemons in approx. 6 ozs. of distilled water, and I would do this anywhere from 3 to 4 times daily. Usually more in the summer time where I would fill up a sport bottle and take it with me. And shortly thereafter, I began to add colostrum, 1 or 2 capsules on an empty stomach. It could be that the two worked hand in hand with one another. I really can't tell you how long I took it before I had the ultrasound, but I would approximate 5 to 6 months or so. Incidently, I have also read that lemons and oranges are beneficial for all types of tumors, including cancerous ones. I would think that the more severe the condition, the more you should consume. To this day, I still drink the lemon water and take colostrum. I hope this helps. Be well,
