Guest guest
How do bats get into your house? From: Vaccinations [mailto:Vaccinations ] On Behalf Of evelyneroch Sent: Friday, August 20, 2010 9:17 AM Vaccinations Subject: Re: rabies We found a live bat in our house on the ceiling besides the bedroom doors (all bedroom doors were opened during the night), including a few months old baby. We checked all the kids for bites, found none, brought the cat to the vet, found no bite on the cat either. Nobody got a rabies shot but we got a shot for the cat just in case. Our vet told us that bites can be seen the following day on people and animals (if there are bites). We were careful capturing the bat to bring it outside. That's where the highest risk to get bitten was in my opinion. e
Guest guest
the best I can figure out here is under the eaves and near the chimney (lots of gaps and opportunities) - I live in an old farmhouse and have seen at least 6-8 bats in and out of my house.
