Guest guest
Anne, I know for a fact they do calcium infusions as Dee had them and I had one while I was hospitalized this time. Just one, and I had two blood transfusions. Of course I had a lot going on. Lots of potassium infusions. I hated those things. Pearl **************Start the year off right. Guest guest
HOLY CRAP! well....thank you for that update Jo. I think I am in big trouble. I am getting my blood drawn on Monday (they were closed during holidays and I have been at my moms since the 2nd). I have some of those symptoms even though I am taking the calcitriol prescribed by Dr Z. I figured I would probably need an iron infusion due to my anemia symptoms reappearing. Do they do calcium infusions too? anyway, thanks for being our 'encyclopedia' online..LOL!! Anne in Santee p.s. can anyone tell me if two periods a month is a sign of menopause or something more serious? Guest guest
Anne Yes they can do calcium infusions. Erratic periods can be brought on by menopause. 2 periods in a month, no periods, heavy periods, light periods....It can feel like you are getting someone else's period each month..you can't " count " on anything being Regular. Of course ANY change in your cycle Should be discussed with a Doctor. I'm glad you are getting your labs done soon...I'll keep my fingers crossed for good results.
