DMSO is a clear liquid that has been used largely to eradicate arthritis pain in horses but it also greatly lessens muscle and joint pain in humans as well. It has been available as an over-the-counter item in feed and tack stores for many decades. As with all or most veterinary products it will say on the bottle "not for use in humans". I have been getting DMSO from horse veterinary supply stores for many years and water it down a bit for use on myself as it is fairly strong and may produce a red but harmless rash on human skin. In most cases it will stop pain immediately on contact.BetsyFrom: dewey sexton <deweysexton@...> Sent: Sat, January 9, 2010 9:56:54 AMSubject: Re: [ ] Re: DMSO and MMS1

Don't forget about MsM (not mms). It's a derivative of DMSO.  I don't think it will work for topical application, but in me it does what it says: Makes the cells more permeable.  I've been able to cut my thyroid and other hormones in half since starting MsM.  I'll try is with CS.  The nice thing about MsM vs DMSO, is that I don't have to worry about running around smelling like garlic -- yuck!  I think the trick with MsM is to take it in sufficient quantities and use a good pure brand.

I just bought some the other day, at a local feed store. Very inexpensive. 16 oz, 99% pure for just $5.80. By buying locally, I didn't have to pay shipping like I would have if I'd bought online.

There are proven dangerous of using DMSO from plastic containers, also the
