Dearest Advocates:

It has been brought to my attention that there may be an increase of administrative hearings being scheduled for families that have been denied the Beckett Waiver in Georgia in the last month.

If you have been denied the Beckett Waiver and requested a Fair Hearing, please e-mail me back the following information:

When did you request your Fair Hearing? One year, two years ago, etc?

Did you ask for a continuing of services for Medicaid during this appeal process?

When were you contacted about when your Fair Hearing date was going to be?

What is your child’s diagnosis?

Thanks in advance for helping collect this information. Please keep to the above information request only. This helps with our on-going advocacy efforts!

In addition, I’ve provided information on a new disability talk show, AADD information meeting, and Coweta Supporters of Developmental Disabilities Meeting.

Have a great day,

United…We Will Make A Difference!

Sincerely, Heidi
