there is also something called MSM Methylsulfonylmethane which is similar to DMSO with same properties but may be more user friendly. Normally it is sold in capsules.

I'm presently taking capsules of MSM and Mumio.

I wonder whethre it comes alos in liquid form.

I know I'm repeating myself from another post, but MSM is a derivative of DMSO, but I don't think it would work topically. You need to take it in sufficient doses to helpful.  Some people are taking as much as 4 tablepoons/day. I take 1 teaspoon.  I must say it is amazing.  I think a lot of people take it for pain. Since its function is to make cells more permeable I think it is helpful for just about anything.  It doesn't kill stuff, though.

If you buy the bulk powder, it will be just about the cheapest supplement you'll take (with the possible exception of MMS1/2 - which I don't consider a supplement, but rather something to kill disease)Anyway, I take Answers from Nature and it's $35 for 2 pounds.  Free shipping if you purchase two.

Even my kids ask to take this supp. and they hate taking anything.  I think instinctually, they can tell it's helping them.On Sat, Jan 9, 2010 at 11:49 AM, healinghope <mfrreman@...> wrote:

Have no idea about the carbohydrates?? The reason for a glass bottle is the chemicals in the plastic being absorbed into the DMSO since it is a carrier it would carry that from the bottle.
