How could I catch a cold while taking 13 drops of MMS I?

I was working up to the recommended 15 drops of MMS I when, on day 13, I came

down with a big sinus-ey head cold. I reached 15 drops yesterday and will switch

to taking twice-weekly maintenance doses.

Maybe I don't understand how MMS works, but I thought I wasn't supposed to be

ABLE to catch something like this at such a high dose.

Is the MMS not working? Should I take more? Should I put some in my neti pot to

irrigate my sinuses? (They feel like they're on fire.)

Kindly enlighten me.
