Sure - but really there is no 'correct' ratio as far as I know, I just made mine up myself... I use anywhere from 2 to 4 Tablespoons of pre-hydrated clay, one heaping Tablespoon of activated charcoal, and one heaping teaspoon of pure apple pectin, mixed in with 8-10 oz of pure water, and drink it down in about a 5 minute period. For the activated charcoal, I used to use plain charcoal from williw bark, but I now buy two different kinds - from coconut shells, and from bamboo - and mix them 50/50, and then use that for my slurries. Just adjust as desired. If I'm doing a serious cleanse, I'll drink 4-6 of these a day, one every two hours, and a chomper/herbal nutrition (from the Arise-N-Shine folks) slurry in between. If you are taking a lot of these it is very important to listen to your body and drink plenty of extra water if you feel the slightest bit constipated. Some people get constipated real quick with clay when they first start cleansing and quit because of it, but what they should do is simply slow down, be sure to drink a lot of extra water, and slowly increase the amount of clay until their gut is cleaned out - the same way you slow down with MMS if you start feeling nasty... Its all just plain, ordinary common sense, really.

You don't have to worry > about all that other 'junk'. You are wrong, this is NOT 65% calcium hypochlorite - it is 100% pure calcium hypochlorite - this is why shipping is so much, because of the hazmat requirements. I also called them to verify this. They offered a different brand that was 73%, but I said I wanted 100%. They said most pool checmical copmpanies don't carry this because it costs so much more to ship and has all of the extra hazmat regs to deal with. I know that the less pure mixes that are available will work, and apparently the 'extras' won't harm you, but I prefer not to take something that: a) I don't know what it even is, is not intended for internal use, and c) may or may not be harmful over the long term
Guest guest
Tanstaafl. Thanks so much for sharing. Do you have a local source for coconut and bamboo charcoal or must I order it from whoever? Sounds like it would be something that would help me. Anyway, Would like to give it a try. No, the sources I posted is where I order mine from... sorry. > Sounds like it would be something that would help me. Anyway, Would > like to give it a try. Please do, I think it would help most anyone... just remember, it can be a little constipating for some people - some more than others - so just like the MMS, be prepared to adjust your usage accordingly...
