Guest guest
You know it's funny though, I am not a working mom in the traditional sense and here I am sticking up for them. What I am really defending is free choice and doing what is right for YOU and not for all the busybodies out there gasping and choking on their own self- righteousness. Oh, the horror of a mom being a VP! McCarthy, who I love by the way, is the current IT girl for autism, but she didn't care two wits about autism or vaccines or biomed until she had a son with autism. I didn't care two wits about special ed until I had a son with special needs. very famously wrote about being on a photo shoot in a bikini while her son was having a seizure back home, because that was her job at the time and she had to earn money. So is she a crappy mom now too?? I think not. McCarthy, like Palin, has a lot more money and a lot more resources than I can even dream of. Money buys STUFF (and people too sometimes). I don't hold it against either one of them that they are able to get top-notch care for their kids while I suffer through the trenches. What I care about it what they are doing for us peons in the process - the awareness McCarthy has raised about vaccines and autism is staggering. One can hope Gov. Palin can do the same thing for children with other special needs, including Down Syndrome. > > > > Palin may be new to the " special needs " aspect of her life > but it is going to be a life > > long journey for her and her family just like all of us.
