Guest guest
Oh, I forgot to add, that if the pup makes it--be sure to start giving probiotics because the antibiotics have killed them all off. There are special dog probiotics (Google for them) because they say there are 2 strains of biotics that dogs have that people don't. Samala, -------Original Message------- I went to see a friend last night about his pup dog that had a life threatening case of parvo virus. The vet prescribed antibiotics. I asked “is that to take the load off the immune system so it can work more on the virus?” (antibiotics not seemingly ideal for a virus).
