Guest guest
What have been the results for you? Did you do it with an environmental dentist or a regular dentist? My dh and I need to do this eventually, but we have to put our money into our kids first. You know, my mom was struck with a severe bout of Ramsay-Hunt (varicella virus) a couple years ago which completely killed one of her nerves and she is now completely deaf in one ear and is left with an affected eye and side of her face. Recently she mentioned that she had all her very old amalgams replaced by a regular dentist awhile back. My jaw dropped. I asked her when it was done and if it was done right before she got the Ramsay-Hunt. She just stared at me and then calculated it back and, yes, the amalgam removal did immediately precede the Ramsay-Hunt. It was a very discouraging thought to consider that the removal could have triggered the virus and consequently a more careful removal could have prevented it. It makes me nervous about removing my own, but I am also nervous about keeping them, too. > > We do chelation with the kids and since then I have had all but 1 metal filling replaced in my mouth. Lots of work and one more tooth is next on the list. I am doing flushing, diet, chelation myself. Not that I am having more kids but I still need to do it. I want to do the IV therapy with my son's DAN! >
