MMS baths for someone who has never tried MMS

A friend of mine has recently started breaking out with warts on his hands feet, he's tried everything to get them removed once a month he goes to foot specialist to trim the warts on his feet. I suggested MMS baths for him. He's afraid it might be HPV and is afraid he will get them in the gential area. Is it on for a person to take MMS baths even though they have never done MMS orally. I'm afraid his body will have a bad reaction to the MMS bath since he's never been exposed to it any other way.
