Guest guest
Actually, the report does not have to contain an IQ score. That section states that an IQ score of 50 or below is ONE of the criteria that can be used to determine whether a child meets the ICF/MR eligibility requirements. Essentially , it is saying that any ONE of the following will get you an approval: 1. An IQ score of 50 or lower OR 2. A diagnosis of a developmental disability as evidenced by EITHER A. An overall composite score of less than 70 on a standardized addaptive functioning tool (like the Vineland) OR B. An age equivalency score of less than half their chronological age, OR C. A CARS score over 37 OR a GARS score over 121. I recommend Dr. Steve Hobbs, Pediatric Psychologist, . Hope this helps, sel shy wrote: hi, I have applied for kadie beckett renewal this year. I did receive letter stating that they require the following to get "Continued stay application". Current psychologist evaluation. Licensed professionals approved to do these assessments are as follows: Development Pediatrician, Psychologist, Ph.D, M.Ed., Ed.s., or Behavioral specialist. This report must contain an IQ and be signed by one of the above professionals. Adaptive Function testing is also highly recommended. Has anybody done this. I would appreciate if you can recommend any development pediatrician, phsychologist or behavioral specialist who can take medicaid (kadie beckett) and do the above required psychologist evaluation. Appreciate your help. regards, sal
