You remove yourself from the list, there is no listserv. To do this, go

to http://onelist.com.

enter your email address & password

you will be taken to a screen showing all lists on ONElist that you are

subscribed to.

Click unsubscribe from the rheumatic.org support group list

that's it.

You can also unsubscribe easily from our web page.

Just go to www.rheumatic.org/welcome.htm and click on 'unsubscribe'.

Hey, Tony. Your test didn't work, because the address has to be

rhuematic-unsubscribeonelist. No message, no subject. You probably know

this, but maybe this will help some other prospective unsubscribers.

I tried my " Unsubscribe Made Easy " a couple of weeks ago, unsubscribing

under one address, and then signing up again with another. It worked.

Sorry to anyone who tried the unsubscribe shortcut I made up, and found it

didn't work. I know rheumatic was spelled correctly at one point, because I

actually unsubscribed with my message. The letters just got transposed at

some point along the way.

FYI # 6

UNSUBSCRIBE

One more time.

I want to unsubscribe. The name you have me under is Roland Domanski and the

e-mail address is my neighbor's. You are causing him a lot of grief. I am sure

that is not your group's intention. He has been trying and trying to get you to

unsubscribe him because of the volume of mail he is getting that he does not

want. He has repeatedly e-mailed you that he wants to unsubscribe and followed

your directions. You are interfering with my relationship with a neighbor that

has been a great help with my rheumatoid arthritis. I do not want to lose his

friendship or support because you do not want to unsubscribe me. That would be

counter-productive to your supposed goals as a support group. Please just

unsubscribe me.

Please try this, rather than flooding the list with unsubscribe requests; click

on this if it shows up as a live (colored) link:

rheumatic-unsubscribeonelist and send the resulting blank letter to

onelist. There are also unsubscribe links on the rheumatic website. I can

appreciate your frustration with receiving letters you are not interested in,

but it is simple to unsubscribe yourself, so please take the initiative and do

it on your own. If you need further help, I would be happy to explain the

process further if you need assistance, and write back to me. Sincerely, Liz G

Hi,

You need to unsubcribe from our web site as follows:

Go to our web site http://www.rheumatic.org select 'support group' and

then 'click here' for welcome messages.......etc......... subscribing and

unsubscribing is included there.

After that it should be quite straight forward:-)

Once you've unsubscribed there will still be e-mails coming

through for a while that were already in the pipeline ...if you see what I

mean:-))

Good luck

hugs,

lisbeth

Please people - just read the last line on all the messages on how to

unsubscribe. Thanks to those who suggested this - obviously an addition to

the server now that it's become egroups.

Tami,

I'm so glad you were able to use this Board to your benefit, and that you have had great results with Annika. Please don't hesitate to come back and share your story with someone, its always great to have the "after" perspective of results and how things are continuing to take shape. You sound like a very busy mom! Good luck to you and we'll miss you!
