Guest guest
I have been taking MMS baths daily for about 2 months using 20 drops of MMS activated with 100 drops citric acid in a tub full of hot water. I am suddenly having septic system problems & was wondering if the MMS in the bath water is having an adverse effect on my septic system by killing the bacteria that breaks down what is in it. If this is the case, does anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent this from being a problem? Also, I was wondering if there is a protocol for bathing with MMS2? Thanks for any help! Guest guest
I don't know if the MMS is the reason for your problems, but you do need active bacteria in your septic tank. And since MMS is known to kill all bacteria, that could be the trouble--though it depends on what type of problems you are having? Back up in the lines? That could be tree roots, Water not going down the drain, or going to slowly--again, tree roots or grease build up. Flooding in the yard? That could be that the tank is too full and needs pumping. So, since you didn't say what the problem actually is--it's hard to say if it's the MMS or not. But--a good way to keep the correct bacteria in the septic tank is to buy those little packages of baking yeast (like for making bread) and once a month put 2 packages of yeast in your toilet and flush. This will take the yeast to the tank, where they will multiply and 'eat' the contents of the tank. samala, www.eamega.com/RPainManageEnt Chronic pain does NOT belong in your body. Guest guest
I, for one, would like to see a response to the " bathing " question re: MMS2. I have several friends with " skin conditions " such as excema/psoriasis that theoretically could be helped in this manner if MMS2 allows for some relief. Guest guest
Hello , If the bath solution has made it to the septic tank, it is possible that the chlorous acid has killed off your septic tank bacteria. The MMS bath protocol for the bath results in about a 1 PPM available chlorine dioxide bath. The problem is that this chlorous acid will continue to react for an extended period of time. This reaction continues to release chlorine dioxide until the solution is all used up. The best way to use sodium chlorite in the bath is to use hydrochloric acid as the activator. This can be very dangerous with high concentration chemicals, so it is much safer to dilute the 22.4% sodium chlorite solution down to a much safer 5% sodium chlorite solution. With 5% sodium chlorite you activate with 6% HCl. Since most HCl comes at a high concentration of around 32%, you also have to dilute the HCl down to 6%. After drawing the bath you add the chlorine dioxide mixture to it and stir. A good place to start is to put 30 ml of 5% sodium chlorite in a glass and add 30 ml of 6% HCl. The activation takes about 30 seconds, so you can mix it in the kitchen and walk to the bathroom and pour it in. Be sure to avoid the fumes, both during mixing and while bathing. Assuming your bath uses 150 liters of water, this will give you about 6 PPM free chlorine dioxide in the bath. When you have finished with your bath, and before you dump the water, you need to add about 2 tablespoons of ascorbic acid powder and mix it in. This will use up any left over chlorine dioxide and when you dump the water it will not effect your septic bacteria. MMS2 is calcium hypochlorite. This is used to chlorinate swimming pools and hot tubs. A good way to bath in it is to visit your community center and go for a swim in the pool.
