Lingo of the mb12valtrex group...yeast die off

Hi,

Although I am not new to most of this, I am somewhat new to the group

(I have chimed in a couple of times)I am new to some of your " Lingo "

and get confused and lost sometimes, not being able to translate. Does

yeast " die off " mean withdrawal type symptoms and severe behavior

swings? We are putting my son back on a GF diet after 2 months. His

behavior in the past week has been near unbearable. Rude, hurtful

(verbally & physically) hysterical laughter etc. He had some symptoms

the first time we put him on the diet but nothing like this. Does it

intensifiy each time? How long does it last? It has been so clear that

the GF diet is what he needs. We had a Developmental Ped tell us that

he did not need to be on any special diet or supps. Foolishly, we

listened. We are having to start all over again. I am also wondering if

high levels of Ammonia can cause this type of behavior. Input will be

so greatly appreciated.
