Hi Vicki,

I don't know either :) But, I do take my prilosec

with my iron so I am interested in learning if this is

okay too.

Vicki,

Thanks for telling me. No wonder I keep having

Yep- that I learned from Jo pretty early out. I think I will just take it at a

different time from everything else just to be safe. I had anemia for a while-

very slight though and by next labs, brought it back up. Seems a lot of people

have iron problems even when they are 100% compliant. SUCKS!! Who has time to be

that tired?? ggrr......I hope your levels come back up. In the meantime, take

your acid blockers seperately from your iron.

,

We tell people to take some meds with acid beverages. You could try

taking your iron with orange juice to make up for having reduced acid

in your stomach.

Thanks Vicki and Marta,

These tips really help me. I try to stay away from

juice cause of the concentrated sugars but I guess 1/4

a cup wouldn't hurt. Is there another drink I could

do that doesn't have so much sugar?

, I refer you to Pat's comment about drinking lemon juice in

water. That would be acid and not sweet, definitely not sweet!
