Just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with high levels of

yeast in their child's system, and what they did about it. Once it was

under control, if you saw any improvements in their development, etc.??

My 2 year old son had a citric acid urine test done, and it showed that

he has REALLY high levels of yeast and bacteria in his gut. The test

also showed low levels of Riboflavin, CO Q 10 amd Vitamin C, but showed

high levels of Oxalate.

Didn't know if anyone had any experience with any of these issues...I

am going to follow the path that the dr. had laid out for us with

supplements, etc. but really do not know what to expect. Any

input/experience would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks SO much,

e

Well, we are doing so many things (i.e. diet and supplements) that it is hard to pinpoint exactly. I can't tell you that we started Diflucan and anything miraculous has happened yet but I can tell you that since starting diet and supplements about 2 months ago the following has happened:

- she sleeps like a baby

- her immune system is awesome (knock on wood - she hasn''t gotten sick even when her siblings have)

- she is having regular bms - on the toilet to boot!

- she is interacting so much more with us - trying to engage others in play

- she is communicating so much more - she is nonverbal but is using sign and trying to get her point across so much more

- she is so much more of a joy to be around!
