Guest guest
. . . Olive Leaf Extract is good . . . Fresh, raw crushed garlic is outstanding . . . Natural antibiotic, antioxident and antifungal. No guarantees it will do the job though. Patty fought for the longest and still had to have a root canal. Maybe you can get to it before it becomes major. Hugs, Rogene --- ktitko <ktitko@...> wrote: > I have an infected tooth and of course no dental > insurance. Guest guest
Thanks Rogene. I already know the tooth is in need of a root canal. I had it filled last year and they didn't remove all of the decay so it is decaying under the filling. It's already been xrayed etc.... I just need to find the money to get it done. In the meantime I will fight the infection as best as I can. > > > I have an infected tooth and of course no dental > > insurance. Guest guest
I can't answer your question about olive leaf extract but you really need to be careful with an infected tooth. According to my dentist and ND, you really need to take proper care of the infection because it is so close to your brain. I'm not saying this to scare you, just be sure you treat the infection and it goes away completely. Kenda > I have an infected tooth and of course no dental insurance. Guest guest
Wow That sounds painful. I don't know about trying to treat it yourself. Once in the gums, bacteria can easily go to the heart. I think you would be best off getting a proper antibiotic. Also, I would take large doses of vitamin C. I have found it to be very effective with just about everything. It isn't that I don't believe in olive leaf and other natural antibiotics, I just think they work slower and I wouldn't want to let this infection get a hold in your gums. Just my opinion. Hope you get to feeling better soon. love, kathy > > I have an infected tooth and of course no dental insurance. I was > thinking that I would start taking my olive leaf extract. Guest guest
Thanks Kathy and Kenda. I just called the OSU school of dentistry. I can have the root canal done by a student for only $128. I will be ble to put that money together for next week. I need to have this done because the whole left side of my face is swollen and extremely painful. Why is it that something like this always comes up when you simpky can't afford it?!?! > > > > I have an infected tooth and of course no dental insurance. Guest guest
, I'm relieved you're getting your tooth taken care of! .. . . After my recent round of dental surgery, I can't imagine how many people can afford much more than cleaning! . . . It cost nearly $6000 to get everything done! . . . Lesson: take very good care of your teeth! . . . I wish someone had sat me down and gotten through to me how important it is to clean very thoroughly around the base of crowns on a daily basis! Not just brush and floss! Are you taking anything for the pain/inflammation? Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Yep, I have the same problem, two that had root canals already went bad and had to be pulled in the last 18 months, now have three more acting up. I am so frustrated I could scream. I was just at the dentist today and had to cancel my monthly massage to go. Boy, I just love having to cancel my massage to go to a dentist. Guest guest
Shirley, you can contact any university that has a dental program and there is usallu some form of clinic. the wait depends on where you are. For instance my step mother worked for UCLS school of dentistry and tey were over crowded servicing the inner LA city area. But here in central Ohio the population isn't that bad. Good Luck,

Guest guest
- That is good news. Please make sure they give you a good antibiotic to wipe out any possible infection. Also eat lots of garlic or take olive leaf or oil of oregano for possible yeast overgrowth from the antibiotic. Hugs Kathy -- In , " ktitko " <ktitko@y...> wrote: > > Thanks Kathy and Kenda. Guest guest
Lynda I feel for you. I hate going to the dentist. I am putting off taking care of a cracked tooth. Also wondering if I should get my mercury fillings removed. I have read some people get better---some get worse. Anyone here have them removed and if so, did they notice any change in their health either way? Thanks Hugs Kathy > > > > > > > I have an infected tooth and of course no dental > > > > insurance. Guest guest
Kathy, You should definitely take care of a cracked tooth. I had to have one pulled lastyear. If I have many more pulled, I will have a problem. From what I have read, dentures are more harmful to you than dental implants. Lynda At 07:21 PM 1/10/2006, you wrote: >Lynda >I feel for you. Guest guest
, I feel your pain, literally! LOL! I had such awful pain from an infected tooth. It was useless. My holistic dentist tried everything he possibly could to fight off the infection and avoid the root canal, but he just couldn't. Nothing, absolutely nothing, worked. I know how frustrating it is! My root canals (I ended up with two of them!) cost over $1000 EACH. I was just sick about the whole thing. I am still dealing with a burning feeling in the back molar. I am wondering at this point if it isn't just better to have the stupid thing pulled and be done with it all. It totally stinks. I hope you start feeling better. I tried so many things, and I don't think anything helped in the least that was natural. I was popping ibuprofen like candy every 4 hours, and that is not something I do lightly. Take care of yourself! Patty > > > > > > Wow > > That sounds painful. I don't know about trying to treat it > > yourself. Guest guest
It is absolutely amazing how many women suffer from bad dental issues after getting implants. It scares me actually. I saw a woman's tooth crumble before my eyes when I went to the FDA hearings in the year 2000. She was so sick, and we were having dinner together (she was my roommate). She was eating soft foods, like soups because of her poor teeth. When she bit into a cracker, it broke her tooth. She was so upset. Then she showed me the rest of her teeth--all wore down to nubs. And this was a woman who had been a professional, had money and the ability to take care of herself. I remember Lany asking about very bad dental problems amongst breast implant women too. I can only hope that it doesn't get worse from here. I just had my first root canals ever, and so far, it has not been a good experience! Patty > > Lea, > > That's another piece of my puzzel. Before implants I hadn't seen a dentist in 8 years and didn't have a single cavity. Since my implants I have had 3 cavities, one crown, two porcelain caps, due to broken teeth. I take better care of my teeth then I did before implants, I just thought I was getting old. I am only 32, but my family doesn't like to share health issues...so I thought it was normal. > > >
Guest guest
Kathy, I wouldn't put off taking care of that cracked tooth. If you are leaching mercury into your body, that can prevent your healing! How many fillings do you need to replace? Guest guest
I cured a long standing tooth infection (thought it was a nerve thing because the tooth was loose) by simply rinsing and brushing with 15 drops MMS, 30 drops vinegar (all I had at the time), wait 3 minutes, added to a glass of water. I would brush with this, and rinse and hold it on the side where the tooth was bad, for a few extra minutes. I had had this pain, off and on, sometimes VERY bad pain, for 2 or 3 months. I started using the AMMS when the pain was bad. Only brushed and rinsed once in the morning. By the next morning the pain was 50% gone. I brushed and rinsed again. Next morning the pain was 90% gone. Brushed/rinsed next morning, no pain, and none again from that tooth. A year later the tooth was loose enough that I had it pulled. But it never got infected again. samala, www.eamega.com/RPainManageEnt the newest, fastest, easiest way to get rid of any pain! -------Original Message------- Hi, I wonder if anyone has had success with an infected tooth and what protocol they used. And how long did it take to heal? I'd like to know when I might start seeing some results.
Guest guest
Hello , Here is something you can try... In a glass put 0.5 ml (about 8.5 drops) of 22.4% sodium chlorite and add 0.5 ml (about 10 drops) of 10% citric acid. Mix and let the activation continue for 10 minutes, then add 125 ml of water. Then add 1/16 teaspoon baking soda and mix again. Take a large mouthful of this solution and swish it in your mouth for an extended period of time (1 - 2 minutes if possible) then spit it out. Repeat until you have used up all of the solution. Finally take a mouthful of plane water and quickly rinse your mouth out. The goal is to try to do this 4 times a day. This is a strong solution that will allow chlorine dioxide to penetrate the gum line. The solution is PH balanced to minimize any attack on the enamel of your teeth. Depending on what is causing the infection, it should have a good chance of dealing with it. It takes a fair amount of time to do this, so pick a time when you don't have to rush through it. Longer hold time is better, but the solution is pretty much used up after it has been in your mouth for about 5 minutes.
